We would like to congratulate Ken Scheffler and Beretta vom Coraschatten ("Retta") for passing their first NAVHDA NA test this past weekend.  Retta earned 108 points and a Prize II.

A big congratulations goes out to Fred Maltase and Browning vom Coraschatten ("Bullet").  Bullet earned a 110 point Prize I when he re-ran his NAVHDA Natural Ability test this past weekend.  This brings our B litter's average NAVHDA NA score up to 111.5 points (out of 112)!

We are happy to announce that our Elli (Oilleli von der Schmiede) earned a maximum score of 112 points and a Prize I at her NAVHDA Natural Ability test yesterday.  Thanks to the three judges and all of the other handlers and audience members for a fun day in the field!

This summer is really flying by!  We have been super-busy training Kaylee for her VGP, training Elli for her HZP and NAVHDA Utility, and acclimating to a new puppy in the house.  You can check out our new dog family photo HERE.

We have another great test score to report for a puppy from our B litter!  Congrats to John Lofgren and Briar vom Coraschatten!  Briar earned a good score of 63 points in a VHDF Hunting Aptitude Evaluation (HAE) earlier this month.  You can check out new photos of Briar HERE.

We would like to congratulate Benelli vom Coraschatten ("Magnum") and Greg and Traci Schoone on Magnum's outstanding NAVHDA Natural Ability performance today!  Magnum earned a maximum score of 112 points and a Prize I.  He is the fourth pup from his litter tested and the third pup to earn a maximum score.  You can view more information about his litter HERE.

Oilleli von der Schmiede ("Elli") turned 7 months of age yesterday and celebrated by earning 69 points on her VJP.  We were very happy to see such a great performance out of such a young dog.

Congratulations to Mike Cross and Batamote vom Coraschatten ("Betty")!  Betty is the second puppy from our B litter to run in a NAVHDA natural ability test and she is the second puppy to earn the maximum score of 112 points and a Prize I!

Kaylee earns top honors at 2010 DL-GNA Breed Show!  Kaylee earned a v/v/v at the breed show this weekend making her the first langhaar in North America to be rated excellent in every show category.  Elli was too young to earn official ratings but the judges called her very promising and placed her first in the 6-12 month old puppy class.

We just returned from the 2010 Pheasant Fest in Des Moines, Iowa.  It was great to meet so many new people.  Thanks so much to everyone who visited the DL-GNA booth and took the time to visit with us about the breed!
