Our "C" Litter is now 4 months old.  We received new photos yesterday from Texas of Cira vom Coraschatten ("Heidi"). 

We have also added a couple of new photos of Bianca vom Coraschatten after yesterday's training session.

Caja vom Coraschatten was put on birds today for the first time.  She flash pointed both pigeons and is already showing a very strong search.

We just received several great new photos of Bolt vom Coraschatten ("Zeke").  Zeke is developing into a nice dog who is already steady to wing and shot and partially force-fetched at just 7 months of age.

We would like to congratulate Mitch Repka and Joe Mella for passing their first VJP with Coraschatten puppies this past weekend.  Mitch and Porter (Arko vom Coraschatten) received a score of 63 points.  Joe and Kayna (Aubrey vom Coraschatten) earned the top score of the day with 77 points (11s in every subject)!  Thanks so much to both handlers for testing their pups!

Our friends, Brad and Linda Kernan, have been breeding German Shorthaired Pointer for years but just had their first litter of Deutsch Langhaars.  We just added their website to our Links page.  Check it out...especially if you are interested in one of their new pups :-)

We have several new photos to share.  Yesterday, we received new photos of Cade vom Coraschatten ("Echo").  Echo's stylish points at a young age remind of us his mother. 

Also, we had a great training session last night with Bianca vom Coraschatten and Ben vom Coraschatten.  New photos have been uploaded to each of their webpages.

Our "C" Litter will turn 8 weeks of age tomorrow.  Our time with them has gone by so quickly!  We look forward to keeping in touch with all of their new owners to hear how the pups develop.

We have great news to report from our "A" Litter.  Aldo vom Coraschatten ("Ashbee") is owned by Taylor and was the first Coraschatten puppy to run in a VJP (spring puppy test).  Taylor and Ashbee did a great job and received an excellent score of 71 points.  Congrats Taylor!  We look forward to seeing the results of the other five pups in the litter as they test later this month and into April.

The "C" Litter is now over 7 weeks old.  They will be getting tattooed and micro-chipped today before heading to their new homes over the next two weekends. 

We also received a few photos from Bullet's (Browning vom Coraschatten) hunting season this past fall.

Our "C" Litter turned 6 weeks old yesterday.  They are spending more time outside and love playing with people and the big dogs.

We received new photos yesterday of Bear vom Coraschatten ("Jimmer").  It is amazing to see how uniform our whole B litter looks so far.

We received new photos yesterday of Brynna vom Coraschatten.  She attended a NAVHDA training day and had all sorts of fun finding quail in the field and making some water retrieves.

Our "C" litter turned 4 weeks of age yesterday.  The pups are very active and really enjoy playing with eachother and/or with toys.  We still have one schimmel female puppy from this litter available to a good hunting home.

Our "B" Litter is now nearly 4 months old.  We just received some new photos of Ben vom Coraschatten yesterday.

We are also very happy to report that Kayna (Aubrey vom Coraschatten) just received an "A" hip rating from Germany!

Today we held a training session for some pups from our "A" litter.  It was really great to see the three siblings together and how prepared they were already for their upcoming VJPs.  You can check out photos of today's training session HERE.

We received a few new photos of Hans (Balto vom Coraschatten) today.  His schimmel coloring is really getting dark and he is already fond of retrieving and the water.

Elli's pups turned 2 weeks of age on Thursday.  They have their eyes open and are really starting to move around the whelping box.

We were excited to hear the first hunting story and see photos of Chase (Bo vom Coraschatten) last night.  Chase found and retreived his first ruffed grouse this past weekend at just 13 weeks of age.

We received some great news today.  We just got the hip x-ray results back from Germany for the first Coraschatten puppy to ever be x-rayed.  We are happy to report that Arrow vom Coraschatten was rated as having "A" hips!  Thanks to the Buenzow's for taking care of the x-rays so quickly!

Elli surprised us yesterday by having our "C" litter of pups a couple days early.  She had 8 healthy puppies and is doing great as a first-time mom.

We have 1 dark schimmel female puppy available!  Bailey will be 12 weeks old tomorrow and is looking for a new hunting home.

We will also accept 1 more deposit for our upcoming "C" litter with Elli and Colt.

Happy New Year!  2011 was a very busy year for us and it looks like 2012 will be similar.

We just returned home from a week-long hunting trip to Nebraska.  The dogs always enjoy the mixed gamebag of pheasants, quail, prairie chickens, cottontails, and jackrabbits.  We now have 1 more month to hunt ruffed grouse in Wisconsin.

In just 2 more weeks, Elli is due to deliver our "C" Litter.  Stay tuned for updates!
