We are planning to breed Kaylee
(Cora vom Illertal) to Vasko von der Hafkesdell in early 2013.
Kaylee is a very sweet and mellow girl.
Her temperament is usually one of the first things that people
notice about her. But yet she becomes a high-drive
dog in the field. She has always been a strong
pointer and absolutely loves the water and duck hunting.
Kaylee is a very cooperative dog which made her very easy
to train. She was our first DL and yet we were able
to accomplish a lot with her despite not knowing what we
were doing much of the time :-)
Vasko is
from an outstanding litter in Germany that was bred by a
trusted friend. Vasko has some impressive accomplishments
individually, but really it is the consistency of his
litter that really appeals to us. Vasko was named the
best looking male dog at the 2011 Schorlemer. His sister,
Vroni, was name the best looking female. It was the first
time that littermates received these honors together.
Every puppy in that litter completed a VJP and a HZP with
a high average score. And all 9 puppies in the litter had
their hips x-rayed and were rated with A hips. Vasko has
a calm and cooperative temperament and has proven himself
to be a strong upland and waterfowl dog.
All of our puppies are registered with the
Deutsch Langhaar Verband (parent club in Germany) and the
North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA).
Each puppy is micro-chipped and tattooed before leaving
our house.
We require a $200.00 deposit to
purchase a puppy from this litter with a final purchase price of $1,100.00. Puppy buyers will
receive a $100.00 refund when they x-ray the
hips of the puppies (can be done anytime after they are 1
year of age).
Buyers will be allowed to select
puppies in the order in which we receive their deposits.
