Sam is a charming puppy that we recently imported
from the Czech Republic. His sire is one of the most titled
German Longhairs in the world in both the field and the show
ring. He is a Czech show champion, a Polish show champion, and
an International show champion. He has also scored very well
in his VJP, PZ (similar to an HZP), VZ (similar to the VGP), and the
International VGP.
Amongst his other titles, he is a 2-time Reserve CACIB, 6-time CACIB,
7-time CAC, and 5-time BOB.
Sam's dam also has some impressive
accomplishments. She did very well in her VJP and PZ and is a
3-time CACIB and 3-time BOB. She is also a Czech show
champion. Both the sire and the dam were bred by Senta's
breeder. He is the chairman of the Czech longhair
club. Sam is a really easy-going
fellow. He aims to please and is eager to learn new
things. He really enjoys playing in the water and shows very
strong natural retrieving instincts. And as you can see in the
above photo, he has very strong pointing instincts as well.
That photo was taken when he was 8 weeks of age. Like
his sister Senta, Sam has really nice conformation. That is
one of the things that drew us to this litter. He has a really
nice square build with a really nice head. The Czech longhairs
are known for their exceptional coat quality and Sam is no
exception. We expect big things in the future from this chubby
little puppy. Sam has been hunted on Hungarian partridge,
chukars, California quail, and waterfowl in Washington State. |
