Upcoming Litters
If you are interested in purchasing a German Longhair puppy from us, please visit the Contact Us page to let us know.  We would really like to place all our pups into hunting homes where they will be hunted, tested, and a valued member of the family.

To reserve a puppy, we request a $200.00 nonrefundable deposit.  The deposit will count toward the final purchase price of $950.00.  We are currently accepting reservations for the following litter.  Buyers will get to select their puppy in the order of deposits received.

Also, if you are interested in importing a German Longhaired Pointer puppy of your own, please give us a call.  We have many contacts throughout Europe and would be happy to assist you in finding and purchasing a great pup from overseas.

We are tentatively planning to breed Gera in late 2008/early 2009.  This litter will not be finalized until after Gera is certified for breeding by the German Longhaired Pointer Club of North America (GLPCNA).  She will need to complete her advanced hunt testing and go through a breed show this fall before we are fully able to determine if she will be a good breeding dog.

Gera is the goofball of our family and you can always count on her to put a smile on your face.  She is very easy-going dog who rolls with the punches.  However, when on game, she is INCREDIBLY intense and has a ton of desire.  At more than one test she has "cleaned up the field" and found birds that the other puppies had missed.  She hunts at a medium range with a lot of speed.  She also has an ideal longhair coat with almost a slick, weather-resistant feel along with the nice feathering on the tail.

In September, we will be checking out several potential stud dogs for Gera at the GLPCNA breed show and sage grouse hunt.  We will be looking for a male dog with a little better angulation in his rear legs.  We will also be looking for a male that ranges well and covers the ground with speed and style.  We are looking to produce pups with all of Gera's drive and heart, as well as good conformation and strong pointing instinct.
