We were looking for a new bloodline to bring into the United States in early 2017. There were several great litters in Germany to choose from, but two friends from Germany own an excellent stud dog. When they have come to America to hunt, they told us a lot about their dog. He sounded like exactly what we were looking for. He had a couple of litters due in late 2016. I asked my friends to select a good puppy from one of his litters for me and they sent me Anna.
So far, Anna seems to be what we were hoping for in our next breeding dog. She is pretty with a very balanced temperament. She is very cooperative and very easy to train. Already, she is showing potential as a very strong tracking dog. She has the right disposition to really focus on a track and the drive/persistence to follow it to the end. Since she was whelped so late in the year, we will get to spend this whole year training with her before testing her in 2018. Hopefully she can live up to her father's reputation!
